Welcome to Personal (Affects), a blog about the things in life I love and can't seem to part with. Who keeps a pair of broken glasses? Why hang on to a 17 year old pair of shoes? I decided to take a good hard look at all the "stuff" I can' t live without and CLEAN HOUSE!. Shortly after that thought, I learned it was not gonna happen. Why, you ask? I'm not a hoarder or a pack rat. I just can't get rid of some special items. I'm afraid I will forget the memories. I'm afraid something, someone or some time won't be important to me anymore. Which is why I started this blog. I plan to post these personal items as I come across them to rekindle and document the memories. This is not a hoarder's blog, but a blog for those memories you want to hold on to, or can't get rid of. These are the artifacts of my life.

Maybe you have a "tangible memory" you would like to post. Just email me with a picture of an item, person, place, thing - anything! You can be in the picture also. Include a short description about the item and why you cherish it so. I would love to post it along side my posts.
