ABOUT US

Tad and I were married in the Opryland Hotel October of 2001.  Believe it or not, that wasn't the original plan.  We were supposed to be married in Rome, Italy, that is until 9/11 forced us to change our plans at the last minute.  Looking back, I am glad we did. Since then we have learned how fortunate we were to be able to share this experience with our family and friends.

Here it is 10 years later and things just keep getting better.  We have packed a lot of great experiences in a few years, although I hate to admit that the details of these memories are fading with each passing year.  It's hard to recall all the scary, happy, thoughtful and exciting events that have transpired.

Our home is filled with personal artifacts we have gathered in our travels.  This blog is my attempt to chronical the various items scattered throughout our home that represents the memory of a person, place or thing and post a photo and a vignette about the history of that item.  The reason I'm doing this is to help me remember.  I hope it's interesting for you also.
You can do it too.
Everyone has something they hold dear because of an event, person or place attached to it.  It is our hope to inspire you to do the same.  Just email me with a photo of your item attached with a brief description and I will post it.  The story may be sad, happy, sympathetic, uncommon, unique, secretive, you name it.  We would love to include the stories of your sacred personal artifacts along with ours.
